Single Gold Bangles

The Sanjeev Guide to Gold Bangle Sizing

A single bangle is a complete statement on its own, which is why so many people wear one and nothing else. Our single gold bangles are made in 22ct gold at our Southall bench, in ball, double petal, triple ball, track cut and hollow constructions, along with diamond cut gold bangles faceted by hand so the light travels around the wrist rather than sitting still on it. Some customers want heavy gold bangles with real presence, a piece bought once and worn for forty years. Others want simple gold bangles, unadorned and quiet, the sort given to a daughter at eighteen. Both are made to the same standard. Hollow designs deserve a particular mention, because they give you the scale of a heavier bangle at a fraction of the weight, which for daily wear is frequently the wiser choice. Lighter bangles are made to be stacked in threes and more, and there is a reason brides wear them that way. Sizing is the thing to get right first time. A bangle passes over the hand, not around the wrist, so measure across the knuckles with the thumb folded in. Altering a bangle afterwards is difficult. Come and be measured.
