The hoop is the most forgiving shape in jewellery. It suits nearly every face, moves with every outfit, and travels from a Tuesday morning to a wedding reception without apology. Our gold hoop earrings are made in 22ct gold and, in South Asian homes, are as likely to be called balis, which is the term our own bench has always used. Designer hoop earrings here range from close fitting huggies, which sit tight to the lobe and are the most practical thing you can own, through to wider hoops with real presence. Diamond cut and sparkle cut surfaces are faceted by hand so the gold throws light rather than simply reflecting it. Floral design hoop earrings and geometric design hoop earrings offer two quite different temperaments, while meenakari hoop earrings bring enamel colour and kundan style hoop earrings set stones flush into the metal. New design hoop earrings come through regularly. Most of our smaller hoops use a click lock or hinged insert closure, which gives a clean unbroken line and a genuinely secure fit. For larger sizes, ask about hollow construction. You keep the scale and lose most of the weight, which your ears will thank you for.
