Sizing is the thing to get right, because a solid bangle cannot be resized the way a ring can. Indian bangles are measured in inches as an internal diameter, usually between 2.2 and 2.10. Measure across the widest part of the hand with the thumb pressed in, or come to Southall and we will size you properly in two minutes.

Press your thumb into your palm, measure around the widest part of the hand with a tape or a strip of paper, and match that circumference to a size chart. If you can visit us instead, please do and we’ll help with sizing.

Weight is what drives the price, since our prices follow the live gold rate. It is also worth knowing that a bracelet can look larger than it weighs. Openwork and hollow designs give you presence on the wrist without the weight, which is why a big filigree piece can be lighter than a plain narrow band.

Yes, and it is one of the most common things we are asked to do.
Our jewellery workshop is on the premises in Southall, so bring the pieces in and our goldsmiths can work from the actual bangles rather than from a photograph. That matters more than people expect. Matching the width, the finish and the pattern properly is very difficult from an image alone.
We can add to a set, replace a piece that has been lost, or make a full second set to match. We will also tell you honestly if a design cannot be matched exactly, which occasionally happens with older machine-made pieces.
